Peppa Pig World Review (2026): Is It Worth It? Honest Tips From a Mum of Three
If you're wondering whether Peppa Pig World is worth visiting, you're not alone. It's one of the UK's most popular family attractions, but with tickets costing over £40 per person, it's certainly not the cheapest day out.
As a mum of three, we've actually visited Peppa Pig World three times – once for each of our children's second birthdays! Our children were aged 7, almost 5 and 2 on our most recent visit, so we've experienced the park with toddlers, preschoolers and older siblings.
Here's my honest review, including the best age to visit, queue times, our favourite rides and the tips I wish I'd known before our first trip.
Is Peppa Pig World Worth It?
Yes – if your child loves Peppa Pig, I think it's absolutely worth visiting!
What surprised me most the first time we visited was that Peppa Pig World is only one part of Paultons Park. Many people (including us!) think you're paying to visit one small themed area, but your ticket actually includes the whole of Paultons Park, with over 70 rides and attractions, beautiful gardens, animals and themed lands suitable for a much wider age range.
That makes it much better value than I initially expected.
The only downside for us is the journey. We travel from London, and it always takes longer than we anticipate, meaning we somehow never quite manage to fit everything in before the park closes.
If you live a couple of hours away, it's worth considering making a weekend of it.
What Age Is Peppa Pig World Best For?
In my opinion, the ideal age for Peppa Pig World is around 2 to 6 years old.
Our children have all visited for their second birthday, and although they've loved seeing the characters and exploring the park, two-year-olds can find the day a little tiring ( although it hasnt stopped us going back)
Interestingly, our 7-year-old still had an amazing day, even though she'd firmly decided Peppa Pig was "for babies!" She loved the rides throughout Paultons Park and spent ages in the splash park, so don't assume older siblings won't enjoy it too.
If you're visiting with children of different ages, there's genuinely something for everyone.

Yes, you'll usually need to queue, but the meet-and-greet times are clearly displayed around the park, making it easy to plan your day.
Queue Times: What to Expect
We visited during the weekend, and queue times varied throughout the day.
Some rides were only around 5 minutes, while others reached 40 minutes.
One thing I really like is how well organised everything is. Queue times are displayed around the park, so rather than standing in one long queue, you can decide which rides are worth doing first.
It makes planning your day much easier.
Food at Peppa Pig World
You can absolutely take your own picnic, and if you're looking to save money, I'd recommend doing exactly that.
Just bear in mind that you'll need to carry it around all day, so keep it fairly light.
We found the food options inside the park quite limited. There were plenty of quick meals available, but not a huge amount of healthier choices, and as you'd expect at a theme park, prices are fairly expensive.
Packing your own lunch gives you more flexibility and keeps costs down.
Family Facilities
One thing Paultons Park consistently does well is its facilities.
Everything feels incredibly clean, well organised and designed with families in mind.

One tip though...
Don't forget socks!
Children need socks for the indoor soft play, and it would be frustrating to arrive only to discover they can't go in.
Our Top Tips Before You Visit Peppa Pig World
After visiting three times, these are the tips I'd give any family.
1. Book online
Tickets are usually cheaper online than buying on the day, so it's worth booking in advance.
2. Check your child's height before you go
The park is very strict with height restrictions and staff will measure children if they're unsure.
It's much better to know in advance which rides your child can enjoy than face disappointment on the day.
3. Pack swimming things
This is the biggest thing I wish we'd known on our first visit.
If the weather is warm, the muddy puddles section is brilliant, so pack:
Swimwear
Towels
A change of clothes
It's such a lovely addition to the day.
4. Take a picnic
It'll save money, especially if you're visiting as a family.
5. Don't forget socks
They're essential if your children want to use the indoor soft play.
6. Plan around queue times
Keep an eye on the published wait times throughout the park and be flexible with your route.
It can make a huge difference to how much you fit into the day.

Yes, it's an expensive day out, but you're getting far more than just Peppa Pig World. Between the rides, splash park, soft play, character meet-and-greets and everything else Paultons Park has to offer, it's a fantastic family day out.
If your little one is currently in their Peppa Pig era, seeing their face light up as they spot Peppa's house or wave to Peppa herself is pretty magical.
Would we go back for a fourth visit? Absolutely, my kids all enjoy it and think we could squeeze in at least one more visit whilst my kids are young enough.
